Agreement to Terms

By installing or using SearchDeck ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Extension.

Description of Service

SearchDeck is a Chrome browser extension that enhances Google Search by:

  • Transforming search results into a visual grid layout
  • Allowing you to highlight trusted domains (watchlist)
  • Allowing you to hide unwanted domains
  • Enabling notes on domains and URLs
  • Displaying sponsor cards (free version)

SearchDeck does not modify Google's search rankings or redirect your clicks.

Free and Pro Versions

Free Version

The free version includes all core features. Free users will see sponsor cards, which help support development.

Pro Version

The Pro version is activated with a license key after purchase and removes sponsor cards. Pro features:

  • No sponsor cards
  • Full toggle control over all settings
  • License-based activation

License Key

Upon purchasing SearchDeck Pro, you will receive a license key. This key:

  • Is for your personal use only
  • May be used on multiple devices you personally own
  • Should not be shared publicly or resold
  • Grants access to Pro features based on your purchased license terms

We reserve the right to revoke license keys that are shared or distributed in violation of these terms.

Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed securely through DodoPayments. By making a purchase:

  • You authorize the charge to your payment method
  • You agree to DodoPayments' terms of service

Refund Policy: We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with SearchDeck Pro. Contact us at support@searchdecks.com for refund requests.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
  • Modify or create derivative works of the Extension
  • Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent licensing or payment mechanisms
  • Share or distribute Pro license keys

Intellectual Property

SearchDeck and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SearchDeck and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The SearchDeck name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of SearchDeck.

Third-Party Content

SearchDeck displays content from Google Search and third-party websites. We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of search results (provided by Google)
  • Content on third-party websites
  • Availability of third-party services

Sponsor cards may contain third-party links. We do not endorse or guarantee any products or services advertised.

Disclaimer of Warranties

SearchDeck is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement

We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SearchDeck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of goodwill
  • Service interruption

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for SearchDeck Pro (if applicable).

Changes to the Extension

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue features at any time
  • Update the Extension without prior notice
  • Change pricing for future purchases (existing Pro users are not affected)

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by:

  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Posting a notice on our website

Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms of Service
  • Is harmful to other users or third parties
  • Is fraudulent or illegal

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
